Sports warm up


why is this part of a winning sports portfolio assignment?
This picture displays the light-hearted relationship between the coach and his players. It's also almost like a behind the scenes photo, and it's interesting to see serious athletes with their guard down.
Also, the photo is framed well and captured at the perfect moment.

The shutter speed is high, at maybe around 1/1600 or so.
Is this a key moment? Could it have been planned?
This photo could have been planned beforehand.
What advances/techniques are present in this photo?
The photo is well balanced and the people form a nice line. The rule of thirds is used, and there's good contrast between the subject and the background.

Prompt Shoot #2 PURPLE This was the brightest I could get this photo because I took it in a dark corner. I did have to turn the ISO up quite a bit, which resulted in some grain, but not too much. The cable creates a nice S-curve  and the baseboards make decently straight lines. I made sure to keep it as simple as possible. This photo is 'purple' because the wall in the background is a calming cool toned purple. ELECTRIC   I wanted this photograph to be underexposed so that the pink looks rich. The darkness also fits the sleepy mood of the styrofoam heads. The heads and the desk that they are on create nice diagonal lines , and everything is well balanced. This photo is 'electric' because the cherry pink wig is prominent as opposed to all other elements in this photograph. COLD This photograph is perfectly exposed in my opinion.
