My First Interview

Student of the month: Malorie Beller
1. How hard did you work to achieve this title?
    "I did my homework, I focused in calss."
2. How are your grades?
   Pretty good, but I often struggle in math
3. How much freetime do you have every day?
   "I do not have that much freetime every day because right when I get home, I have to go to swim practice, and then right after that, I have to do my homework."
4. How can one achieve the student of the month title?
  "Just follow directions and try your best."
5. Would you consider yourself a role model for your peers?
  "No."
6. What subjects do you perfrom best in?
   "I perform well in science and probably in english."
7. Why do you think you were chosen as student of the month?
   "I think I was chosen as student of the month because I am good at following directions and geting my work dome when needed."
8. Do you consider yourself a teachers' pet?
    "For some teachers yes, but I think that since bowie is such a big school... I'm not like that anymore"
9. Did you want to be student of the month?
 Of course, who wouldn't? 
10. What was your reaction to getting student of the month?
    "I was ecstatic and couldn't believe that I was chosen."
11. How much time do you spend on school work every night?
    "I tend to procrastinate, so I wait until the last minute to do stuff. If I have projects, I porbably spend 2 hours and rotate from projects to homework to get things done."
12. Does being involved in extracarricular activities help one achieve the student of the month title?
    "Yes because it shows that you care about that subject and want to learn more aobout that subject"
13. What are the perks of being student of the month?
    "Yes, you do get some aknowledgement, but at the same time you have to [continue to] meet [that] standard"
14. Do you have any major goals for the future?
   "I want to be a vet and open up my own clinic and porduce a product that I can franchise." 
15. If you are going to try to be student of the month every month, how would you go about doing so?
    "Don't porocrastinate, get your work done. Find time to do it."
16. Would you help out other students if they need tutoring?
    "If i had time, yes. But I woul have to curve my everyday life to do that for other people."
17. Are any other students jealous of you?
   "Some students would be just because they treid really hard to get there and didn't get there."
18. If you're planning on attending college, which one?
    "Texas A&M because it has the best vet school in Texas."
19. Do you get more attention now that you are student of the month?
    "Yes."
20. If you received an award, what did you get?
     "I got a certiicate with the principals signature on it."
        20.b. If you didn't recive an award, do you wish that you got one?

Prompt Shoot #2 PURPLE This was the brightest I could get this photo because I took it in a dark corner. I did have to turn the ISO up quite a bit, which resulted in some grain, but not too much. The cable creates a nice S-curve  and the baseboards make decently straight lines. I made sure to keep it as simple as possible. This photo is 'purple' because the wall in the background is a calming cool toned purple. ELECTRIC   I wanted this photograph to be underexposed so that the pink looks rich. The darkness also fits the sleepy mood of the styrofoam heads. The heads and the desk that they are on create nice diagonal lines , and everything is well balanced. This photo is 'electric' because the cherry pink wig is prominent as opposed to all other elements in this photograph. COLD This photograph is perfectly exposed in my opinion. "The Camera History and Basic Functions" 1. Explain the “camera obscura” effect. How is it achieved? In c. 500 B.C.E, Chinese and Greek philosophers discovered the "camera  obscure" effect. They found that when light is focused through a tiny hole in a wall, the scene is projects on another close by surface, upside down. 2.
